Variation Principles in Limit Analysis of Non-associated Flow Rule Materials

The parametric potential energy principle and the generalized pa-rametric variational principle are developed in the limit analysis of the non-associated flow rule materials.These new principles can be applied to suchfrictional materials as rock,soil,concrete,etc.An illustrated example isgiven of the problem of active pressure on retaining structures.
