The Fuzzy Power Flow Calculation by Using Inverse Fuzzy Arithmetic

Based on the analysis of fuzzy arithmetic and its classification, characters and shortcomings, a new fuzzy arithmetic was presented. A new fuzzy power flow algorithm according to the inverse fuzzy arithmetic putted forward recently was also introduced. This method avoids the magnification phenomenon caused by ignoring the relativity of variables. The method was tested by an IEEE-14 system which proved its validity. The simulation result demonstrates the new fuzzy arithmetic increases the calculation speed of this method.
