Predictive Functional Control for Integrating Processes and the Performance Analysis

On the basis of impulse response of the integrating processes, a predictive functional control algorithm was proposed, and a load rejection controller was designed by optimal control theory so that the desinged control system can track setpoint without steady state error in the presence of input disturbance. The presented algorithm can deal with the control of the inverse response integrating process and the integrating process with large time delay. Examples were given to illustrate that the proposed method has good robustness and the capability for rejecting external disturbance.
