Influence of Nonlinear Effects on Temperature Elevation in Tissues During Ultrasound Hyperthermia

Qian Shengyou Sun Fucheng Wang Hongzhang(Department of BME, Shanghai Jiaotong University)  
Taking the transfer of energies between harmonics into account under the quasilinear approximation, the temperature distributions in tissues during ultrasound heating at various transducer parameters and tissue properties are investigated, and the results are compared with that obtained for linear conditions.
