BIOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF HYBRID SHIITAKE(Lentinus edodes)STRAINS RESULTING FROM DI-MONO MATING

Hybrid shiitake strains resulting from di-mono mating were analyzed by biochemical technology. The parents and hybrids were analyzed and identified by electrophoretogram of esterase iozymes and soluble proteins. The results confirmed that dikaryon and monokaryon had exchanged chromosomes during the di-mono mating. This indicated that dimono mating can be used as a method for Lentinus edodes strain improvement in breeding program.
