Study on Flow Process of Gas-solid Two-phase Stratified Flow in Horizontal Pipe

The pneumatic transporting and multi-functional experimental apparatus were established to study the flow characteristics of dense-phase air-solids two-phase flow in conveying pipeline.Systematic experiments,in which air,fly ash and micro-glass bead are working medium,were conducted to explore the relationship between the pressure drop of two-phase flow and the relating influence factors.Through the experiments,the basic influence factors on the resistance loss of two-phase flow in pipeline were found to be the properties of gas and solids,the dimension and orientation of pipeline and the operation conditions.The physical and mathematical models were achieved on base of experimental data.And it im- proves the progress of research of stratified flow.
