A Comparative Study between Hexapliods Triticale and Common Wheat under Water Stress

A Comparative study of morphology, physiology, biochemistry and yield parameters between hexapliod triticale and common wheat under drought stress indicates that growth stage, plant height, length of stem under ear, number of ear and green leaf in milk stage are more stable under drought stress in triticale varieties than in wheat varieties; also ability of water binding and content of binding water are higher, yield construction is stable and drought resistant ability was higher than in wheat varieties.
