Counting Principle of New Type of Optoelectric Particle Counter

Optoelectric particle counter (OPC) is an instrument to measure directly aerosol in atmosphere. This article narrates the structure and principle of a new type of OPC. The instrument utilizes A/D data acquisition technology and signal processing software as a substitute for traditional circuit function under microcomputer's control and has many advanced capabilities, such as measuring quickly and obviously, storing data automatically, suiting data analysis on the spot, etc. The article also gives a group of measured results in Tibet and Hefei suburb.
