Locating Mark System for PCB Based on ADSP-2181

An image inspection system using digital signal processor ADSP-2181 is discussed, which can meet the high-level requirements of industrial application by the application of the new electrical and image processing technologies. To achieve the purpose of the project, parallel data stream analysis method is adopted to demonstrate the solution, while the system data stream model and control model are presented. Based on the model, high performance hardware system based on ADSP-2181 is designed and achieved, including many functions such as acquisition of video data, displaying TV signal in real time, image processing and image inspection. According to the request of object recognition and location in automatic detection of printed circuit board, a Hough transform is proposed to inspect the circle-shaped location marks on PCB respectively, to be performed in hardware environments. The experimental results are presented. The research has important va-lue in researching on image processing and industry inspection.
