Design and Implementation of Real-Time Blind Signal Separation System Based on Grid Occupation Ratio

An algorithm for searching the un-mixing matrix based on GOR (grid occupation ratio) is proposed. The algorithm effectively eliminates the disturbance of pseudo result by statistically estimating the distribution of the elements of un-mixing matrix and restricting the searching range. It is high efficient for the separation of different instantaneous-mixed signals. Through some further simplification and improvement, a real time processing system embedded on a DSP board for blind signal separation is presented. Simulation and experiment in the DSP system prove that the system has the advantages of high precision in separation, low demand of DSP resources, easiness of real time realization, and fast tracing to the variation of the environment.
