Multi-component Signal Decomposition Method Based on Repeated Generalized Demodulation

A multi-component signal decomposition approach using repeated generalized demodulation is proposed based on the generalized demodulation time-frequency analysis method.For the multi-component signals which obtain more components,after the first generalized demodulation,the time-frequency curve of a certain component can be separated from those of the other components in the wavelet packet time-frequency.Then the component can be separated from the original one.The generalized demodulation can be repeated until all the components are separated.The multi-component signal decomposition method based on the repeated generalized demodulation is applied to the simulated signal and compared with other methods.The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
