CHARACTERISTICS OF COMBINED STEEL-REINFOR CED CONCRETE BEAM AND ITS APPLICATIONS

MEI Bing-hui, SHAO Fu-shun, QIAO Li(Harbin Institute of Architectural Design, Harbin 5000, China)  
The load-bearing ability of the steel-reinforced concret beam under earthquake and normal loads and its mechnical properties under limit status for normal use are explained. The properties are compared between steel-reinforced concret structure and that made of normal reinforced concret and the applications of steel-reinforced concrete structure in practical engineering are discribed.
