The application of artificial viscous-spring boundary in ADINA

The method of simulating viscous-spring artificial boundary by means of spring-damping element of ADINA is discussed.This method is applied to the uniform and layered half space problems.It is shown that the viscous-spring artificial boundary adopted this method has high precision,and the method can be used in analysis of wave motion problem easily.The method can be used to analyze the soil-structure interaction effectively.
