Dynamic analyses and experiment studies on the prestressed concrete continuous curved box-girders

The dynamic characters of a prestressed concrete continuous curved box-girder are studied by the finite element analysis,the pulsating method and the running-truck experiment. It is confirmed that the tested result for the curved box-girder is greater than the calculated result,and the dynamical stiffness accords with the design requirement.In order to find the effect of central angle on the dynamic characters,the dynamic analyses of curved box-girders with different central angle are carried,and it is shown that the longitudinal frequency of the curved box-girders is decreased as the central angle increases while the transverse frequency is increased.
