Research on similarity of small scale reinforced concrete structural model

In this paper,a new method of considering similitude harmony problem between various materials(reinforcement and concrete) for small-scaled RC model design is put forward,that the similitude harmony between concrete and reinforcement used in model is considesed by adjusting reinforcement and stirrup,or the effective section height(h0) and hoop space etc.Simple element testing on a shaking table and numerical simulation are carried out to verify this model design method,moreover,it is evidenced by deviation analysis that the model designed according to similitude harmony design method can simulate preferably the nonlinear response of prototype.
