Seismic response analysis of a small- radius curved girder bridge

In view of the feature of small-radius curved girder bridge such as small width,lower pier,severe bending-torsion coupling and noticeable seismic damage,and taking a small-radius curved ginder bridge of three spans in some city as an engineering case,the accuracy of the single-beam model,the grillage model and the solid model in simulating small-radius girder bridge was compared. Based on the linear time history analysis method,the influence of the seismic wave input mode,the pier beam constraint form and the change of width and span on the seismic response of small-radius curved girder bridge was analyzed. The results show that the grillage model is move suitable to simulating the small-radius curved girder bridge,the seismic wave input mode,the peir beam constraint form and the change of the width / span of the bridge have more obvious influence on seismic response of the bridge.
