Design of real-time satellite navigation receiver based on standalone DSP platform

Aiming at the problems in function extension and upgrade of the satellite navigation receivers being used at present,which usually depend on FPGA chips or ASIC chips,the construction method of modular satellite navigation receiver based on a standalone DSP is presented,the IF satellite signal sampling,allocation and caching of the program and data,thread scheduling are also studied.Take TI’s TMS320C6416 as an example,a prototype of real-time software defined radio(SDR) satellite navigation receiver is implemented on this basis.The experimental results show that the receiver platform implemented in this scheme could realize the functions of the real-time SDR satellite navigation receiver very well.
