Research on inspection of rice chalkiness based on computer vision

To solve the rice chalkiness inspection problem effectively,an automatic inspection method based on computer vision is pro-posed.Firstly,the hardware structure is constructed.Then,a separation algorithm based on concave point is used to separate overlapping rice,a improved multi-threshold algorithm is proposed based on the maximum entropy to automatically decide the background,chalkiness and no-chalkiness of rice,the noise of the pseudo chalkiness is eliminated to improve the inspection accuracy.Finally,the experimental results indicated that the proposed method has the advantages of high-speed,accuracy and stability.
