Studies on the Adsorption Characteristic of Cd(Ⅱ)and Pb(Ⅱ)on Blocky Peanut Shell

Influence of adsorbent quantity,initial solution pH,adsorption time and the initial concentration of solution on adsorption were investigated to infer the adsorption characters of Cd2+and Pb2+on peanut shell.Furthermore,the adsorption kinetic and isothermal curve were fitted.The results indicated that the adsorption reached equilibrium after 36 h.The adsorption kinetic and isothermal datas of Cd2+and Pb2+both well fittedpseudo-second-order kinetic model and the Langmuir isotherm adsorption model respectively.When the initial concentration of adsorbate solution was about 100 mg/L,the adsorption capacity of the peanut shell to Cd2+and Pb2+were10.47mg/g and 17.37mg/g under the condition at 25 ℃respectively.
