Reflection on the Chinese and western aesthetics

The traditional differences between Chinese and western aesthetics lie in harmony or contrast between human and nature.This article tries to explain the methods conventionaly employed to study the Chinese and western aesthetics,and argues for their coexistence despite discrepancies.
