Transformation of Science as Practice and the Significance for Science Education

After Andrew Pickering,a sociologist of the scientific knowledge(SSK),put forward that the science is a practice not a knowledge,the significance of science education has changed.Public understanding of science is the new purpose of science education instead of spreading scientific empirical knowledge in the past.The public needs to understand the nature of science and the social function of science in social practice,and make a correct value judgment and critical reflection.
