The filter bag technique in vitro was used to determine the digestibilities of gross energy,dry matter and crude protein of corn gluten meal.Pepsin,pancreatin,intestinal fluid,rumen fluid and cellulase were used in incubation.The results indicated that filter bag technique was much more convenient and fast.The digestion in the three - step multi - enzyme systems(pepsin + pancreatin + rumen fluid or pepsin + pancreatin + cellulase)was more similar with in vivo.Furthermore,In vitro,the nutrient digestibility was influenced by some factors such as feedstuffs characteristics,sample particle,enzyme activity,enzyme concentration,stirring frequency,stirring time,incubating temperature and buffer solution pH.The correlation coefficient of the crude protein digestibility and the gross energy digestibility was 0.72 and 0.67 between in vivo and in vitro respectively.
