Effects of paste of fresh and tender leaves on per-formance and egg quality in layer

Three hundred and sixty Hy- Line layers aged 45 weeks were randomly divided into three groups.Each group was assigned 3 replicates and 40 layers per replicate.The control group, ⅠandⅡgroup were fed with the basic diets containing 0, 25 g/d and 50 g/d(A layer)paste of fresh and tender leaves respectively.Results showed that the rate of lay- ing performance rose 4.3 and 7.5 percent, the feed utilization increased by 5.26 % and 10.5 %, the egg shell strengthened and the rate of broken eggs decreased for the layers fed with paste of fresh and tender leaves.
