Study on comparison of the different method to detect concentration of mycotoxins

The study was conducted to investigate the difference of three different methods to detect concentrations of mycotoxins,aims to give references about mycotoxins detection.A total of 33 piglet diets were selected to detect mycotoxins aflatoxins B1(AFB1),zearalenone(ZEA)and deoxynivalenol(DON) concentrations with different methods including ELISA,ultra performance liquid chromatography(UHPLC)and liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer mass spectrometer(HPLCMS/MS).The over standard rate of ELISA method on detection of AFB1,ZEA and DON was same with UHPLC and HPLCMS/MS methods,and the ELISA could be the preliminary screening method.When the concentration of AFB1 in piglet feed was 80% higher than limited value with the method of ELISA,the UHPLC detected AFB1 concentration was higher than that of HPLC-MS/MS(P 0.05).While there were no significant difference in UHPLC and HPLC-MS/MS on concentrations of AFB1,ZEA and DON on other samples(P 0.05).It was indicated that ELISA could be the preliminary screening method to detect the mycotoxins concentrations.HPLC-MS/MS could be used to verify the results of ELISA method with lower AFB1 concentration,while others were verified by UHPLC method.UHPLC could be used to verify the results of ELISA on concentration of DON and ZEA.
