STUDIES ON THE KEEPING FRESH PRESERVATION OF ARTEMISIASELENGENSIS STEMS

This paper discussed the preservation technology of Artemisia selengensis fresh stems combined with the used of preserving agent and low temperature. The stems were membraned by using the mixture solution of 0.4% potassium, 0.4%CaCl2,0.6% sodium alginate and 0.03% ascorbic acid. Then they were packed in plastic bag, each the bag having about 200g the stems, and preserved at 6℃ .The stems could be kept well before 21 days. After preservation, the edibility rate of the stems was 93.3%.They looked verdurous relatively and still tasted friable.
