The Construction of Conjugate Quadrature Filter with Scale Factor α and Multiplicity r

For compactly supported orthogonal multiwavelet system with factor α and multiplicity r,a general method for constructing many new length-L+1 conjugate quadrature filters(CQF) from a length-L CQF is given,the approach of construction higher-order matrix CQF from lower-order ones is given simultaneouly.If the original CQF satisfy perfect reconstruction condition,then the new ones constructed with this algorthim also satisfy perfect reconstruction condition,the algorthim keeps the symmetry of CQF.The numerical examples of CQF verify the applied significance in signal processing.
