Observer Design for Nonlinear Switched Systems with Delay

In this article, the observer design for nonlinear time-delay switched systems is designed. And it is proposed the gain matrix design for the switching system by constructing Lyapunov Krasovskii functional and using the linear matrix inequality and average dwell time, which discuss the sufficient conditions for the exponential asymptotic stability of error switching system in the case of switched system without disturbance. On this basis, we further study the linear matrix inequality conditions for H_∞ performance index of the error switching system with the disturbance influence. In the following the results are extended to the case that the error switching system has a common Lyapunov function, At the same time, it is further simplified as a case without delay. At the last, a simulation example is given which shows that the proposed observer is effective for the observer design of switched systems.
