Mathematical Analysis of Isolation Effect of Isolation Bearing in Small Span Bridge

Through the finite element model to build a small span straight bridge. The use of pot bearings, plate rubber bearing, lead rubber bearings, high damps rubber bearings, friction pendulum bearing as the bearing form. The bridge is analyzed under the three seismic waves of El Centro, Taft and Tianjin by time history analysis. And the horizontal internal force of the bearing, the displacement of the beam, the displacement of the bearing, the displacement of the pier and the seismic internal force response of key section of bridge are analyzed and compared. The effects of earthquakes on short span bridges with different bearings are studied.This provides a useful reference for the seismic design of short-span bridges.
