Bond Stress and Local Slip of Reinforced Concrete

In this paper,the fundamental conditions are analyzed and the 2nd order differential equation of the relationship between bond stress and local slip as well as six boundary conditions are obtained,which are the basic equations for exploring the inherent laws of bond state.It is, however,too difficult to solve them by using methods in current use. According to mathematical similarity,an analytical model of the fictitious cantilever beam is put forward,and the equations of important variables including local slip at any section,crack width,the difference between steelbar strain and concrete strain,total elongations of both steel bar and concrete between two adjacent cracks,average strain of steel bar,the factor of non-uniform strain of steel bar and the average rigidity of bonded bar can all be conveniently acquired. The proposed method can be used in the analyses of cracks,deformations, bond behaviour and finite element methods.
