Design of extending interruption function with a coder for MCS-51 single-chip-microcomputer

On the basis of analysing the merits and demerits of the commonly used interruption function of the single-chip-microcomputer, this paper, by using the a coder to extend the interruption function, presents the method of designing software with interruption vector table to realize the interruption function and gives the referential program. This method of extending is of such characteristics as simple connection of circuits, easy design of software and consumption of no inner resources of the computer and fast response to interruption.
