Design analysis of the beam gantry milling machine structure scheme

To study the static and dynamic performance of beam gantry milling machine structure,three kinds of beam structure form are established in designing the beam based on the theory of plate and shell and the beam modeling,considering the fact that the beam of gantry milling machine belongs to the thin-walled structure. In scheme comparison,three kinds of static and dynamic properties of beam structure are simulated by using the finite element method,and three kinds of beam deformation,stress distribution and the inherent frequency and harmonic response of processing under the action of the static load. By comparing the three kinds of static and dynamic performance of the beam,the study confirms that the O beam static and dynamic characteristics prove to better than the other two kinds of structure forms.
