Discussion on optimization of control strategy on solar street lamp

The solar street lamp working condition is affected by the weather. In view of this great disadvantage,the study puts forward an improved scheme of the system,including the maximum power optimization and LED street lamp dimming strategies of solar battery charging. To achieve greatest power,the boost circuit is used,and fixed voltage method as well as the change of the step length of duty cycle perturbation and observation method is applied. Besides,LED lamp dimming part uses the time interval method,and according to the illumination,traffic flow and the remaining battery power,adjustments are made to realize the adaptive dimming. The scheme feasibility is verified by simulation and experiment.
