Photocatalytic degrading dye wastewater by Yb-La Co-doped nano TiO_2

A photocatalyst,ytterbium and lanthanum Co-doped TiO 2( Yb-La/TiO 2) was prepared by a solgel method. The photocatalysis reaction conditions were optimized through the investigation that under the radiation of UV lamp,the photocatalytic degradation of using Rhodamine B as dye wastewater. Results showed that when the amount of catalyst was 2 g / L; the pH value was 6,the illumination time was 2. 5 h, and the starting concentration of wastewater was 10 mg / L,the degradation rate of dye wastewater can reach 96. 71%; in the system above adding 0. 2 g / L of hydrogen peroxide,at pH of 3 ~ 4,the illumination time was 2 h,the degradation rate of dye wastewater can reach 97. 02% and photocatalytic efficiency can be improved.
