EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT ANION RAW SALTS ON MONOLAYER DISPERSING CAPACITY OF IMPREGNATED METAL OXIDES ON γ-Al_2O_3

NiO/γ-Al_2O_3, CeO_2/γ-Al_2O_3, CuO/γ-Al_2O_3 and Cr_2O_3/γ-Al_2O_3 were prepared by impregnating γ-Al_2O_3 with the solutions of various metal salts followed by calcination. The monolayer dispersing capacity (threshold value) of NiO, CeO_2, CuO and Cr_2O_3 on γ-Al_2O_3 were obtained by quantitative phase analysis. It was found that the threshold value changes not only with the different metals, but also with the different kind of anions of the salts used to form the oxides.
