Experimental study of gas concentration in singlebubble sonoluminescence

AN Zhao-liang, QIAN Meng-lu, LIU Heng-biao, LI Tong-bao(Institute of Acoustics, Tongji University, Shanghai 200092, China)  
Gas concentration in liquid is an important parameter in single bubble sonoluminescence (SBSL), which significantly affects the movement and light emission of the SBSL bubble. Gas concentration in a liquid is measured with an inserted fluorescence spectral oxygen sensor in the present research. Relations between the gas concentration and the others factors such as equilibrium radius and driving acoustical pressure are then studied experimentally. The dissociation hypothesis is again proved.
