A PRELIMINARY STUDY PRICKLYASH RUCT
Cao Zimin Tian Chengming Liang Yingmei (Northwestern College of Forestry)
It is,Proved that pricklyash rust(Coleosporium zanthoxyli Diet. Syd.) is a dangerous disease by investigating major prieklyash planting-region in nothwesten of China. In this region, the infectious plant rate isusually more than 60%,specially,90~100%,and the disease-index lie usually between 30 and 75.Space dynamic of the disease coincide with Logist curve. The di- sease severity is relative to the varieties of pricklyash, and rainfall;not relative to age of the trees, and elevation of the area where prieklyashes are planted.C.zanthoxyli infects leaves and makes them fall early, which causes buding secondary leaves. The fungus bear urediospores and teliospores on pricklyashes. The teliospores germinate at optimaltemperaturof 18~25℃.
