Design of Electric Vehicle Body Structure and Lightweight Strategy

In order to design and develop a new type of electric vehicle body structure, an architectural scheme for the design process of the small electric vehicle body is presented, and some control methods for achieving dimensions, performance, weight, and other objectives in the design process are proposed. To ensure the realization of various performance objectives of the car body, CAE simulation technology is used to conduct multi-dimensional analysis and evaluation, the body performance is presented in three dimensions, risk points are discovered in time, and synchronous correction design is performed to obtain a good body structure. In terms of weight control, weight reduction of the vehicle body is achieved through the application of multi-material and multi-process. The preliminary design of the steel-aluminum hybrid vehicle body is completed, which provides a theoretical basis for the mass production of the new electric vehicle model.
