On Present Situation of Groundwater Overdraft in Linfen City and Protection Measures

Through analyzing the present situation of ground-water overdraft in Yaodu District of Linfen City,this paper indicates the water environment problems that easily results from groundwater overdraft.Being aimed at the increasingly serious contradiction between water supply and demand,and at the fact that the water environment problems caused by overdrafting may restrict the district's sustainable development of economy,the paper presents some suggestions about controlling overdraft in this district.
