A New Blind Digital Watermarking Algorithm Based on Orthogonal Wavelet Transform

On the basis of orthogonal wavelet transform,a new blind watermarking algorithm using a gray image as watermark is proposed.This algorithm takes advantages of the wavelet transform and adds watermark onto the wavelet coefficients located in the low frequency sub-band.The watermark is embedded without modifying the coefficients,so this method is invisible and experimental results show that it also has strong robustness against many image processing attacks such as JPEG compression,median filter additive noise,cropping and geometric distortions.So it is effective and practical.
