Control of an Analog Compound Orthogonal Neural Network in Axial Magnetic Bearing

An analog compound orthogonal neural network was presented on the basis of the digital compound orthogonal neural network and applied to the control of the axial magnetic bearing.The controller was a parallel control method with an analog compound orthogonal neural network and PID.Simulation experiments were made regarding the control system of the axial magnetic bearing with load disturbance using the PID controller and NN+PID controller.Results showed that the parallel control method had excellent anti-disturbance and speed response ability in comparison with PID controller,and satisfactory in control effect.The analog neural controller can be applied to the control of the magnetic bearings.
