The Evolution of Southwest China's Ethnic Relations from the Perspective of the Alliance of Ethnic Sovereigns in Tang Dynasty

CHEN Bin(Department of Information Management, Yunnan University, Kunming, Yunnan, 650091, China)
Southwest China has been a multi-ethnic region since ancient times. During the historical development, these ethnic groups had undergone constant changes, which owed much to the influence from the Han people. Therefore, the development of the relationship between the Han of the Central Plain and the southwest ethnic groups has become a dominant factor influencing the relations among the southwest ethnic people.
