Construction ideas of virtual simulation experimental platform for short period climate prediction

Taking the experimental teaching of Short Period Climate Prediction course of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology(NUIST)as an example,the construction background and ideas of the experimental teaching platform based on virtual simulation technology are analyzed,also the specific structure,contents and construction progress of the platform are presented in detail.At present,the platform can provide agood theoretical study and experimental environment to effectively cultivate students' practical innovative ability and improve the teaching effect.
