Design of distributed optical fiber micro-bend sensing system based on OTDR

In view of the experimental requirements for engineering application,a distributed optical fiber micro-bend sensing experimental system has been developed.The design scheme of the overall structure of the experimental system and the basic principle and key technology of the fiber optic micro-bending sensor are expounded upon,and two engineering application projects of the concrete pavement subsidence monitoring and landslide geotechnical disaster monitoring are set up.This system can realize the attenuation detection and distribution detection based on the fiber micro-bending sensor of the optical time domain reflectometer(OTDR),and the cave collapse and landslide phenomena of the simulated concrete pavement and simulated rock-soil slope under pressure are monitored experimentally.This system can be used as an experimental platform for the monitoring research and teaching experiment of geotechnical structures.
