Detection of helicobactr pylori DNA with polymerase chain reaction in gastric juice of children

Objectives To determine helicobactr pylori DNA in gastric juice of the chikl patients with chronic gastritis and to search the application value of clinical diagnosis.Methods The helicobactr pylori DNA in gustric juice and the helicobactr pylori in gastric mucosa tissue were determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Warthin-Starry stain.Resul ts Compared with nongastritis, the sensitivity and specificity of the patients with gustritis were 75. 0% and 96. 2%.There was significant difference between them (P0.01). Compared with Warthin-Starry stain,PCR is better.Conclusions It is sensitive,quick and specific that PCR is used to detect helicobactr pylori DNA. It is a ncw technique for the detection of helicobactr pylori in gene level. There is important value in the early diagnosis of chronic gastritis.
