Transient Stability Simulation and Analysis of Power System Based on Matlab

Time domain simulation is a basic method for transient stability analysis of power system.The main content of this article is to build a mathematical model of single machine system and multi-machine system,then to use time domain simulation to analyze and simulate their transient stability.The simulation results show that the single machine system is more stable with greater damping and shorter cut-time.Considering excitation,because of bigger Tj multi-machine system needs more time to be stable.When KV meets the requirements of static stability,the bigger KV is,the better transient stability is.At last,it is found that recloser is good for transient stability.The method enriches the application of Matlab in transient stability analysis of power system.
