Applications of a Novel Integral Sliding Mode Controller on PEV Speed Control System Driven by PMSM

Aiming at weakness of the performance of pure electric vehicles driven by permanent magnet synchronous motor,a improved integral sliding mode control algorithm is proposed.According to the mathematical model of PMSM and the dynamical equation of PEV,the simulation model of PEV driven by PMSM is built in MATLAB which to verify the effect of novel algorithm.Simulation shows that compared with the PID controller,the improved integral sliding mode controller has smaller overshoot and steady-state error,and the speed tracking response time is shorter.
