Modeling and Simulation of the Dual Three-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor for an Electric Vehicle

In view of the safety and comfort of the electric vehicle and the high power of low voltage,the geometry and operational principle of dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor with 30° phase shifting were analyzed,mathematical models of natural coordinate system and dual d-q coordinate transformation and vector space decoupling transformation were demonstrated,the simulation models of dual d-q coordinate transformation and vector space decoupling transformation were built in Matlab/Simulink environment,and simulation results of these models were compared. The simulation results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis,and the theoretical analysis and simulation model are of great significance for the research and development of high-performance electric vehicles.
