DETERMINATION OF RESIDUAL SIMAZINE IN SOIL

To make health standard of simazine for soil and define nation standard analytical method this subject was researched. This article details a series of operating processes, i.e. extraction with dichloromethane, hydrolysis after added sulfuric acid and the determination of the hydrolysate of simazine by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. A few kinds of desorption agents, extracting solvents, extraction conditions and hydrolysis conditions were initially approached from different ways. In experiments the absorption spectra for simazine and its hydrolysate and standard curve of three kinds of soils were determined. This method is simple and easy for the operation. It can save the used organic solvent and the time of determination, and can overcome the obstruction by the impurities pigment. Its sensitivity is 2μg/10g, and its coefficient of variation is ±3%.
