Analysis on Single and Multiple Drug Sensitivity Test Result of 1,684 Mycobacterium Tuberculosis

Objective To investigate the status of drug-resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Changsha City.MethodsThe drug-sensitivity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis was measured by absolute concentration.ResultsThe drug sensitivity tests of 1,684 strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis showed that the highest rate of single drug resistance was RFT(15.50%),followed by SM(12.59%),RFP(10.69%),INH(8.37%),PZA(6.47%),PAS(2.79%),EMB(2.32%),and KM(1.72%)and the total drug resistance rate was 26.03%.ConclusionThe total Mycobacterium tuberculosis drug resistance rate in Changsha City is below the national average level.
