对新时期我国中学地理教育的回顾和今后发展的意见

While remarkable headway has been made in China's high school geography teaching, there arc still problems which have yet to be solved, such as the exorbitant demands of the University Entrance Exams in geography knowledge which overwork the students, the lack of fascination on the part of the geography textbooks, the insufficiency of qnalified high school teachers against a rapid development of teaching requirements. The author, therefore, puts forward suggestions concerning teaching principles, teaching materials, teaching methods, teacher-training, as well as the examination system for college enrollment.
